THE NAKURU HOUSE OF POWER CHURCH. This ministry was born out of earnest through prayers and fast accompanied by reach outs also. On 21st may 2006 was a day it officially started. In the heart of prayers and fasting the team of intercessors who went in the closest for 21 days to see the burden we had conceived the burden for Nakuru West which one of the most affected areas in the Rift Valley Region by the 1992-1997 tribal clashes in Kenya. This was when we used evangelize the slums of Kaptembwa Ronda Mwareki Baruti and Paul machanga in Nakuru town-1998 up to now. We have been praying and trusting GOD for all these time to establish our ministry to them just right there. This is the only we saw that we can bring challenge to the desperate war torn places like this one. Most people are here are; Poor :As a result of property lost in clashes defects incurred, plans were frustrated in the time of clashes, money lost and even capable family members lost their lives leaving nothing and non to help. Displacement- People here mostly ran/scattered by clashes and hard way of life. Especially children and more those who lost parents in the clashes and some are driven away due to poor state and hard life they turn to the streets. Drunkards- Hopelessness has caused most people here to indulge in profuse drinking of local brews. This goes along with immorality which has also worsened and crippled the whole estate. H.I.V/A.I.D.S Victims-Immorality that caused by careless life they lead here; has planted many in the A.I.D.S and other related diseases. Also young ladies at an even age of 12yrs engage in sex commercial hence contributed buting its spread. Children are mostly affected- either directly or indirectly. Some end into streets and even involve in sex abuse and every sought of evil. We are really touched and driven in our hearts by this estate. And is just due to what is important to us as a ministry of House of Power- Worshiping God whole heartly in spirit and truth. Winning the lost souls to Jesus Christ. Caring for one another as Christ cared for us. Living under the authority of God's word. Knowing God intimately and personally and let Him known to others also. We are seeing the good responses of these people to the gospel, and since we started, there 's a good turn up. It's like they were longing for something of the sort. And even around here there's no church and our going to the place; has really touched them. In addition to the gospel, we offer to them food staffs especially grains twice a month and even second hands clothes when we get them or if some one donates to the church, sometimes we give our own clothes to others who totally do not have cloth, and we also give a meal once a month when we have money . This is just for begining, we are trusting to God to take us beyond. In visions and plans; we are praying to buy a piece of land that is on sale next to where we have rented, and every month we are paying church rent , which sometime is hard to us, due to the hardships that we are going through, if the church can have it's own land and buildings , we can be grateful, in order to forget paying rents on monthly basis. From here we are have a vision to build church hall that can accommodate over 400 people. -Building Nakuru House of Power Educational institute to serve in primary schools that are far from this community and even colleges. - Building Nakuru House of Power Hospital. This we help the community a great deal. No hospital is near here and this has caused lose of some lives. Some risk by going to sorcery and divinations as the only alternative. We want to curb these! We are looking forth to the lord God who has started through us to provide this possible means for us to achieve the goals we have here. God bless you sore great as you team up with us in his great commission. We look forth to hear from you as the our Lord God leads you. Amen! Amen.
